Whakapapa Season Pass sales delayed until May 2025

Planning to hit the slopes at Whakapapa ski area, Mt Ruapehu this winter? Here’s an important update for skiers and snowboarders: Whakapapa season pass sales for 2025 have been delayed until early May.

Whakapapa Holdings Limited (WHL) confirmed the delay due to the ongoing concession process with the Department of Conservation (DOC). A final decision is expected by the end of April. WHL is holding off on releasing season passes for Whakapapa Ski Area until the process is complete.

While sales are on hold, full pricing and pass options for the 2025 Whakapapa season pass are now available online. Snow lovers are encouraged to review the details and sign up for updates via the official Whakapapa website.

Whakapapa Ski Area, Mt Ruapehu
