Hanmer Springs Ski Area has scheduled its next working bee for 21–22 March

Coinciding with the hill climb event and a delayed St Patrick’s Day celebration on Mt St Patrick. Volunteers will help with a range of jobs including hut maintenance, tow work, roading repairs, clearing used equipment from the hill, preparing firewood and general tidy-up around the huts.

Members can reduce their subscription by $40 for one day or $80 for two days, and organisers say all hands are welcome. Some volunteers plan to head up on Friday night, and anyone keen to join the weekend is encouraged to get in touch with the club and make a trip to the hill.
