The internationally acclaimed World of WearableArt (WOW) Show: GLO! returns to Wellington from 17 September to 4 October 2026, transforming the TSB Arena into one of New Zealand’s most spectacular live events.
Recognised as the country’s largest theatrical production, WOW blends fashion, art, and performance into a high-energy arena show. Expect a mix of cutting-edge wearable art, live music, choreography, aerial performance, and immersive lighting and visual effects.
At the heart of the show is the globally renowned wearable art competition. Designers from around the world create one-of-a-kind pieces that are judged on creativity, innovation, and storytelling, before being brought to life on stage in a fully choreographed production.
Each performance runs for around 100 minutes, delivering a fast-paced, visually rich experience with no interval. The season also includes a dedicated awards night, where the year’s standout creations are recognised.
With more than 60,000 people attending annually, WOW has become a major highlight on New Zealand’s events calendar—drawing visitors from across the country and overseas to Wellington’s waterfront.
