At See New Zealand, we believe the arts should be for everyone — especially our rangatahi. That’s why we’re introducing the Auckland Arts Festival’s Donate a Ticket initiative, a programme that helps schools and community groups access world-class live performances.
In 2025, the Festival gave away more than 1,400 free tickets through its Creative Learning programme. For 2026, the goal is even greater — to reach 3,000 tickets. We see this as an important step for the future of the arts in Aotearoa, and we’ve also donated tickets ourselves to help make it happen.
Why this matters
For many young people, this may be their very first theatre experience. One story, one image, or one unforgettable performance can change how they see the world — even shaping future careers in the arts, design, or creative industries.
How the Donate a Ticket initiative works
- $20 covers one school ticket.
- Larger donations cover two, three, four or more tickets.
- Every donation directly reserves seats for schools and youth groups at the next Festival in March 2026.
Join in and Donate a Ticket
We’re proud to share this initiative and to have contributed ourselves by purchasing tickets. If you’d like to make a difference too, you can donate today and help ensure the next generation gets their chance to experience the magic of the arts.
