Winter is calling, and Coronet Peak is answering.
Coronet Peak officially opens this Saturday, 14th June, with top-to-bottom skiing and riding thanks to cold temps and ideal snowmaking conditions. Arguably the best since 2022
From first chair, skiers and riders will have access to Meadows Express, Coronet Express, the beginner and Skiwiland carpets, sightseeing, and even the sledding lane – all backed by a solid early season base of 30–60cm on groomed trails.
The snowguns have been working overtime, and the mountain team’s round-the-clock efforts have paid off. The result? A strong start to the 2025 season with everything ready to roll.
The tradition of First On Chair returns too – so expect a few early risers chasing bragging rights. Even better, the first 50 guests on Coronet Express will score a Mons Royale merino neck warmer to mark the milestone.
