The Remarkables Ski Area is officially opening this Saturday, 14th June, kicking off what will be its 40th winter season on the slopes.
Cardrona will open Saturday 14th with both the McDougall’s Chondola and the Learner Conveyors running.

The Department of Conservation (DOC) has reopened the lower section of the popular Hooker Valley Track in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park.
The future of Whakapapa Ski Area has been confirmed, following the approval of a new concession to operate the mountain.
The second swing bridge on the Hooker Valley Track – has been permanently closed.
