Tukino Ski Field, Mt Ruapehu has announced plans to open for this upcoming weekend 6-7 September and midweek 8-12 September, subject to weather and snowpack conditions
Thanks to a stunning top-up of snow that’s coated the mountain, the team of volunteers is preparing to run the field every day for a full week – a rare and exciting window for skiers and snowboarders keen to make the most of spring riding.
“We’ve got fresh snow and a dedicated volunteer crew on-mountain for 7 days and we will endeavour to open our facilities every day between 6 and 13th September, possibly longer depending on volunteer availability and weather conditions . ” the team shared.
