Peter Burling wins SailGP 2025 fan MVP award

Black Foils driver Peter Burling has been voted the winner of the MVP category in the 2025 SailGP Fan Awards, recognising a standout season at the helm of New Zealand’s F50.

Burling has led the Black Foils to two event wins this season and has them firmly in the hunt for their first Rolex SailGP Championship title.

New Zealand sit second overall, just three points behind leaders Emirates Team New Zealand, heading into the Championship-deciding Mubadala Abu Dhabi Sail Grand Prix 2025 Season Grand Final.
